This dish was pretty good. I loved the salmon and the za'atar cauliflower rice - minus the raisins. I'm not a big raisin fan, but was willing to give this dish a try just to add variety to my meal selection and try something new. If it weren't for the raisins, I may have loved this dish, but they were a little overbearing for my taste and hard to avoid.
This dish came in at 480 calories. It had 36 grams of protein and 29 grams of fat - probably mostly due to the salmon. The sodium was a little higher than usual at 40% of daily value and the sugar was higher than I usually like to see at 12 grams - probably mostly due to the raisins. Overall, not bad though and the ingredient list is still pretty clean.
My subscription is for 10 meals a week for $130, but I had a $20 off reward that made my shipment $110 - so $11/meal. The reward system is NEW for The Good Kitchen, and so far, it looks like it offers some really great perks! I have had some trouble applying my reward codes to my order, but I'm hoping that gets smoothed out as they adjust to their new system. In the meantime, customer service has been very helpful in applying the codes for me.
Will I Re-order?
Probably not. I'm just not a fan of raisins and there were too many in this dish for me!
