Flavor was excellent. I loved the spices used on the salmon - not overpowering, but enough to give it a unique taste. The sweet potatoes were also excellent and paired very nicely with the salmon. I'm not sure if you can tell in the pictures, but this was actually frozen when I made it. I had ordered too many meals and put some of my meals from The Good Kitchen in the freezer so they wouldn't go bad. This heated very well, even from being frozen, although I did end up adding more heating time after plating the dish in order to get it fully warmed up (I think my freezer is extra-cold).
This meal came in at 495 calories. WOW! I mean wow! The ingredients on the dishes from The Good Kitchen blow me away! Wild-caught salmon?? And then just straight-up sweet potatoes and a few spices?? SO clean!! I LOVE it!! Protein was a whopping 34.1 g (68% daily value), and let's not forget the Vitamin A (204%), Vitamin C (71%) and even some Calcium (8.8%) and Iron (10.6%). Sugar was a little high at 12.5 g, but this is most likely attributed to the sweet potatoes and maybe a little from the coconut crystals.
With no promo codes, I ordered 8 meals/week at $13.99/meal.
Will I Re-order?
DEFINITELY! I love salmon and sweet potatoes - so this dish was a perfect mash-up for me!
