While the appearance of the smoothie is slightly off-putting, the flavor is actually not too bad! It is generally a pretty mild flavor with a hint of orange. I only mixed this smoothie base with water this time, but will be open to other add-ins in the future.
My photo actually shows the old label for Smoothie Box smoothies where they were combining the nutrition facts of the smoothie base AND the collagen packet. I opted to NOT use the collagen packet in this smoothie. The total calories without the collagen is about 240. This smoothie has clementines, sweet potato, ginger, coconut water, coconut cream, dates, lemon juice, carrots, and pumpkin seeds with most ingredients claiming to be organic.
These smoothies go for 20 packs for $99 - so about $5/smoothie. They often run promotions that give you essentially 5 extra smoothies for free, which would make it about $4/smoothie.
Will I Re-Order?
They are good to have on-hand for a smoothie in a pinch. But, these are not something I crave or am excited make. Maybe if I get more creative with recipes or turn it into a smoothie bowl of some kind, I will have more of a desire to make these??
